NEW INSTAGRAM UPDATES 🤳

Instagram has been on an updating spree!

Here are just a few of the recent updates you can expect to see:

🌟 Poll Stickers have a new look! In fact, they resemble Quiz Stickers. You can now add more options, change the colors, and add up to 40 characters in each option. Say goodbye to adding a Quiz Sticker (and adding the disclaimer that there is no wrong answer) when you want your audience's opinion on more than one option.

🌟 Videos now have captions that are automatically generated. You have the option to turn this feature off. Instagram expects the quality of the captions to improve as more people use them so their AI can adapt.

🌟 Stories now have a "like" feature just like posts in the feed. This is supposed to help creators keep their DMs clear (which is great for accounts that get a ton of DMs), but can be challenging for those who are wanting to increase their engagement and build better connections with their audience.

🌟 Reels thumbnails are gifs. Take a peek at your own reels tab on your profile and you'll notice some of your thumbnails are animated gifs just like TikTok's. This definitely draws more attention to the eye and makes me wanna watch more Reels when I visit other people's Instagram accounts.
